RE: DeadWood
Well kept secret, but Spearfish City park is a great place. Next door to a historic trout hatchery. At the north end of Spearfish Canyon and Spearfish creek flows through it. It is close to I-90 and easy drive to Deadwood and Sturgis. Spearfish is becoming the center of activity area with restaurants and shopping.

RE: How much capacity is lost if converter isn't Li-friendly?
Even after all these years folks still giving advice on lithium fires when not even talking about LiFePO4 chemistry being used in rv's. LOL
I believe I said I didn't want one. Go buy yourself a whole pile. Did you see any advice I gave? Nah, don't think you did.
Have a good day

RE: How much capacity is lost if converter isn't Li-friendly?
I don't have a dog in this discussion, but Lithium scares me with all the fires that have taken place. (Geezers get worried over nothing.) I think I will stay with the lead/acid and genset.

RE: slight vibration on acceleration
Sounds like U joints. Also consider loose bolt on transmission or engine supports, I might find someone with a pit and have them check and tighten just to be sure.

RE: full wall slideout issue - maybe
Full wall slide have duel motors?
I might check and see that both drive motors and screws are synced and balanced.
Opnspaces has a good point. Could the entire structure be in a bind when this happened??

RE: Damaged hydraulic leveler hoses
Have you determined it the woven material is fabric? Most likely it is steel, possibly stainless. Some of my tractor hoses are stainless inner with 'rubber' exterior

RE: Delete
Are you wanting to quantify the risk? if in doubt, find a truck mechanic that works in a pit under the coach. He knows what he is doing. Don't be asking for opinions on an internet web site.

RE: I have a disgusting problem… HELP!!!
Rent a backhoe and dig a big hole? Dump said wastes and wait a couple of day and re-cover the hole. No worse (I suppose) than a septic tank.
I sure as heck would not haul it in my truck. Maybe some septic service could pump the drums out for you?

RE: What to do when you are not camping for awhile
IF you have power to the storage area where the coach 'lives' during the winter hibernation. One of the neatest things I have found over the years is a Battery Tender. It keeps the battery up and will stop charging when the battery if fully charged. I have not tried it on multi-battery applications, but the system is still 12 volts. Our coach has 6 house batteries (residential fridge) and I try to be careful to keep the cells within limits with distilled water.

RE: Better options for couches?
I have $een a piece that looks like a love seat with a arm rest in center. Somehow reclines but still against wall. Or foot/leg rest comes out. Looks very comfortable and would fit in the area we have in the slide of our coach. Leather but BIG bucks

RE: Dump Tank Extension Needed
Tractor Supply has a rod that has a hook on the end and a point. I think it is made for livestock shows etc. I have one to help me place leveler pads and pull awnings to get them started sometimes. Fits easily in the basement area of our coach. Maybe 60 inches

RE: FDR State Park campground in Georgia
Pine Mountain is the name. No mountains. We had an alligator in a pond below my house years ago. I live in NE Georgia near the SC state line. I think these guys can show up anywhere they get released. Lake Hartwell, Savannah River has had them.

RE: Electric Water Heater
without reading all the replies. Old question from a lot of RV sites. "could the valves in the wet bay be open and the valve for the faucet be the only one close?" Hot and cold will mix there
